What kind of opportunity does NexRep have?

NexRep has a new client program where they will recruit several people to provide services for at least 20 hours a week Monday through Saturday anywhere between 8 am to 8 pm ET.  As a Customer Service Rep, you will answer calls for a client that provides payroll services for people who are in self-directed Medicaid programs. 

As an independent contractor, you will help facilitate the payments to caregivers, ensuring they receive compensation for taking care of their loved ones.

Are there any other duties?

Yes.  You will actively assist with enrollment, program applications, and setup in applicable systems.  Retrieve information to assist caregivers with any payroll-related inquiries, document information, and outcomes, de-escalate upset or frustrated callers, and offer guidance and direction to both caregivers and patients to effectively resolve any issues they’re facing.

What are the requirements?

All agents will be required to have 1 year of customer service experience to support this client.  In addition, you must have strong computer skills, the ability to troubleshoot when appropriate, empathy, patience, and a friendly demeanor.  It is also important to possess good listening skills, strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and accurately work with numbers and discuss money.

What equipment will I need in my home office?

A computer with a Windows 10 or 11 operating system, high-speed internet with antivirus software, a webcam, a quiet workspace, and a USB noise-cancelling headset.

How much will I make?

This opportunity pays independent contractors $13 per hour. After you complete additional certification at a later date and start handling more complex calls, you will also receive a $250 incentive!  The additional certification is currently expected to be in January 2025, though that is subject to change.
