Job Overview
Title: Contact Center Associate – Authorizations Agent
Role: You’ll determine contract coverage, authorize home repairs or appliance replacements, handle pricing negotiations with contractors, and inform customers about any non-covered claims. You’ll also ensure proper follow-up on each case.
Location: Remote (U.S.)
Pay: $16.00–$17.00/hr (varies by skills & location)
Type: Full-time
Scheduling: Two shift options available (Central Time shown):
- Tue–Fri: 12:30 pm – 9:00 pm CST
Sat: 11:30 am – 8:00 pm CST
Mon–Thu: 12:30 pm – 9:00 pm CST
Sun: 10:30 am – 7:00 pm CST
Shifts may adjust based on business needs.
What You’ll Do
- Review service contracts and determine eligibility
- Negotiate pricing with contractors
- Communicate non-covered claim details to members
- Conduct follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years in customer service or related training
- Contract reading skills, conflict resolution, negotiation
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Reliable internet (≥4.6 Mbps up/down)
