A Weekend Treat in Bed
We moved to The Cottage just over two years ago, and in all that time we have been busy decorating and making our new home our own.
So, when I was asked if I would like to recive a Simba Mattress to review, I was delighted, as our beautiful French sleigh bed needed a new mattress.
I have a rule about certain items, I never buy second hand mattresses, shoes or tyres for the car! So, a beautiful new Hybrid® Mattress Original fitted into that important rule.
I was sent, to review, a King Size Hybrid® Mattress Original mattress; based on their original, game-changing design, it’s like sleeping on a cloud.
The Mattress arrived in a box, well wrapped up and in a tight coil. We opened the box, and carefully cut the plastic to let the mattress open up.
The mattress was ready to sleep on after eight hours, and was beautifully thick and deep. I couldn’t wait to sleep on it, given that the old mattress was many years old and sagging a bit in the middle!
I was hugely impressed with the mattress, and moreover, my husband and I had our first night’s sleep (in a while) where we didn’t roll into the middle!
It seemed only right and proper to treat ourselves to breakfast in bed the next morning. A tray was taken in with thick, creamy yoghurt with bananas for me, and wholemeal toast with homemade marmalade for him.
The mattress I was sent to review, is currently retailing with 25% off, in their Bank Holiday sale. It’s £846:75 instead of £1,129:00.
Not only did this mattress give us both a comfortable night’s sleep, but it is made in the UK too. And, I do love to support all things made in the UK.

I’ve not slept on the mattress for 200 nights yet, but I was amazed to see that Simba offer a 200 night trial, and if you aren’t satisfied, you can return it and they will collect it for free. (Not that I will be returning mine!)
