The search is lastly over — Elon Musk has determined who he’s hiring to take over his interim position as CEO of Twitter.
Musk introduced the information through Twitter the place he confirmed that his successor could be beginning in about six weeks and that they use “she” pronouns, although no different particulars have been confirmed.
Excited to announce that I’ve employed a brand new CEO for X/Twitter. She will likely be beginning in ~6 weeks!
My position will transition to being exec chair & CTO, overseeing product, software program & sysops.

In March, it was rumored that lively Twitter exec and CEO of The Boring Firm, Steve Davis, was positioned to take over for Musk, although neither Davis nor Musk confirmed (and even commented) on the rumors.
Musk made it public that he could be stepping down from the CEO position in December after polling his Twitter followers about whether or not or not he ought to resign.
